Each one of those containers

Consider this same volume in Oakland, CA, Vancouver, and all of the Coast combined at the megaports of LA Long Beach and thats alot of freight not transported by truck. As truckdriver, Id be more concerned with that than some greenhorn competition who Ill probably end up respecting for his willingness to work for YRCYELLOW. I guess can keep my 89. 75 in my pocket!!!!!!!!!Reply .Report Abuse. Judge it!.4Feb 26, 2008 you have to remember they are cutting jobs. how many of those jobs will be from natural attrition and retirements.

People are sick and tired of trucks no matter where the driver is born. so if he is posting things, either they are not going through or he is not hitting post comment button. so that is sets of everything they need to deal with. there are areas where they have three terminals all in the same area and each one has an office staff as well as drivers, mechanics, dock workers. Each one of those containers is dmn good haul for truckdriver or team as all that freight is going to the Midwest and beyond. Reply .Report Abuse. Judge it!.

or not cheers. million teus 20foot container between the ports of Tacoma and Seattle yearly. Thats thousands of good freeway loads that dont see trailer chassis till they to Chicago?.Those containers arent even hauled locally, they come off the ship and are planted directly onto the train. I think 10 of the containers are utilized locally not large consumer base. TANGLEFOOT wrote If you talk above the editor, look out hell zap your comments. hear you, that makes alot of sense. watch morethanamile long, doublestack container trains leaving or passing through the Port of Tacoma probably 2530 times day. think actual job loss from people being firedlaidoff will end up being less then 400..
